Rooms are kept quite well; clean etc as opposed to other motels in Lismore-well done. Keep the hard work up cause it's paying off.

Being on the road a lot for work, there is nothing better than discovering a place that is a home away from home...and the Dawson is just that. Great home cooked breakfasts and dinners, lovely clean rooms and attentive, personal service have all added up to me going back to the Dawson many times.
I would recommend the Dawson to any of my friends and colleagues and, in fact, I have on many occasions. The owners, Pete and Gaz will really look after you. Go the Savoury Omelette!

As a travelling Rep, I have stayed at many motels across the State and I have to say the Dawson is up there with the best. The meals are brilliant, the presentation outstanding and the service is unbeatable. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners who have never been anything but incredible when I have stayed there. It is due to their service and the way they run the Motel that makes me keep coming back when I'm in town. That, and the best brekkie in Lismore.

I would like to say after looking on line and reading the review of this Motor Inn I decided to book in after travelling for 2 days and it was 9pm on a Monday night.
I have never been more pleased and welcomed when we arrived and even has great parking for car & large horse float or trailers.
Peter is just a delight and nothing is a problem even late on a Monday night. The rooms are above a 3.5 star rating in my opinion and so crisp and clean. Customer Service is lacking in this day and age and it is just a breath of fresh air when you come across people like Peter & Garry.
My husband & I will now always be planning any of our roadtrips around being able to stay at the Dawson Motor Inn @ Lismore. Cheers Melissa (Dubbo NSW)

I was tour leader of a group of 30 who stayed 3 days in Lismore. Our decision to stay at Dawson Motor Inn proved wise.
Peter Gerstenberg and Garry Jones were terrific hosts, very welcoming and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We made a decision at late notice to have all 30 breakfasts at Dawson Motor Inn instead of elsewhere which again proved to be the right decision. Peter and Garry set about providing 30 breakfasts at no fuss, on time, delicious, high on quality and quantity. Made our start to each day a positive one.
We also left behind luggage by mistake, the guys acted swiftly to ensure we retrieved the items before we caught our next flight out of Coolangatta. I would recommend Dawson Motor Inn to anyone wanting a good, comfortable and relaxing stay in Lismore. Don Mann (Auckland, NZ)

A fairly standard 3.5 Star Motor Inn but what sets it apart are the friendly hosts who seem to be more than happy to do anything they can to make your stay comfortable.
I also recommend the room service meals - simple home-cooked style food at reasonable prices - very reasonable for room service. Conveniently located, free wireless broadband and a great pool.

I stayed at the Dawson Motor Inn for 2 weeks on a business trip. The motel is very comfortable and in a handy position, but the best feature is certainly the service. I don't know when they sleep, but the hosts Peter and Garry seem ever present and always friendly. There has obviously been a lot of thought and planning put into the procedures, as this little motel runs like a well oiled machine. I worked in hotels for nearly ten years, and I know an organised outfit when I see it. Highly recommended.

Being on the road a lot for work, there is nothing better than discovering a place that is a home away from home...and the Dawson is just that. Great home cooked breakfasts and dinners, lovely clean rooms and attentive, personal service have all added up to me going back to the Dawson many times.

Awesome service along with very genuine people, very clean & tidy rooms, enjoyable.
I would definitely stay again since the customer service is excellent, even the cleaners were happy & friendly.
I found out about Dawson Motor Inn simply because it was the first motel I came across entering Lismore. Has to visit family in hospital

I would like to say after looking on line and reading the review of this Motor Inn I decided to book in after travelling for 2 days and it was 9pm on a Monday night.
I have never been more pleased and welcomed when we arrived and even has great parking for car & large horse float or trailers.
Peter is just a delight and nothing is a problem even late on a Monday night. The rooms are above a 3.5 star rating in my opinion and so crisp and clean. Customer Service is lacking in this day and age and it is just a breath of fresh air when you come across people like Peter & Garry.
My husband & I will now always be planning any of our roadtrips around being able to stay at the Dawson Motor Inn @ Lismore. Cheers Melissa (Dubbo NSW)

I was tour leader of a group of 30 who stayed 3 days in Lismore. Our decision to stay at Dawson Motor Inn proved wise.
Peter Gerstenberg and Garry Jones were terrific hosts, very welcoming and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We made a decision at late notice to have all 30 breakfasts at Dawson Motor Inn instead of elsewhere which again proved to be the right decision. Peter and Garry set about providing 30 breakfasts at no fuss, on time, delicious, high on quality and quantity. Made our start to each day a positive one.
We also left behind luggage by mistake, the guys acted swiftly to ensure we retrieved the items before we caught our next flight out of Coolangatta. I would recommend Dawson Motor Inn to anyone wanting a good, comfortable and relaxing stay in Lismore. Don Mann (Auckland, NZ)

A fairly standard 3.5 Star Motor Inn but what sets it apart are the friendly hosts who seem to be more than happy to do anything they can to make your stay comfortable.
I also recommend the room service meals - simple home-cooked style food at reasonable prices - very reasonable for room service. Conveniently located, free wireless broadband and a great pool.

I stayed at the Dawson Motor Inn for 2 weeks on a business trip. The motel is very comfortable and in a handy position, but the best feature is certainly the service. I don't know when they sleep, but the hosts Peter and Garry seem ever present and always friendly. There has obviously been a lot of thought and planning put into the procedures, as this little motel runs like a well oiled machine. I worked in hotels for nearly ten years, and I know an organised outfit when I see it. Highly recommended.
